The next two weeks are busy around here! This week we will have the Language Arts Unit Tests, ACSI All School Speech Meet and first ever class debates. Please be sure your student has a charged chrome-book. The next week we will also be having our Terra Nova tests and starting the new book club book. Then it’s Spring Break!

Week 29: March 27-31

It’s a new quarter. Your child is just 9 weeks away from being a middle school student!  Gradelink is reset and we are starting fresh! We will end strong! Congratulations of making it this far with a smile!

This quarter is filled with fun history/geography, science/health and Bible projects. And all their hard work will finalize itself in a showcase of their amazing talents!

But to start, we have a busy week this week. Please help your students to work hard and get their work turned in on time!!

Week 28: March 20-24

This is a big week! There is a field trip on Wednesday, the end of the quarter is Friday and the fifth grade speech meet is just one week away. Please be sure to be checking in with your child and his/her gradelink account about missing work or low grades.

This week we have a field trip to the Watsonville Courthouse. We have just enough spaces for kids in cars, but this is the rare field trip where there is no limit to the amount of adults. If you would like to join us in the audience or as a jury member, please let me know! And if you signed up to drive, we need you. I will be sending detailed information about the field trip to the drivers on Monday morning! An email went out Friday about clothing, behavior and expectations for students on Friday. Please be sure to read through that email with your son/daughter before Wednesday.
